Poland is in the hands of Satan!
the
beatroot

Over 330 exorcists from 29 countries around the world have arrived in
Czestochowa for their annual behind-closed-doors meeting to discuss new ways
of fighting Satan.
And what better place to exorcise the devil himself but Czestochowa, the home
to the shrine of the Black Madonna and annual destination for many pilgrims.
European exorcists meet once a year, usually in Italy or Germany. This is
their second meeting in Czestochowa.
And what do you think that the exorcists are talking about today? Well, it
must be that the Devil, the cloven-hoofed one, is running riot among Poland’s
politicians.the

It's not exactly how one
expects to see German Chancellor Angela Merkel: The broad, friendly smile
seems completely at odds with her open blouse, two bare breasts spilling out.
On each breast, one of Poland's governing Kaczynski twins is affixed -- Prime
Minister Jaroslaw is suckling on the left, President Lech has attached himself
to the right. One of them is holding up the "victory" sign right in Merkel's
cleavage.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH

Time for Polish politicians to take early retirement
A whole generation of Polish politcos – from both sides of the divide – have
failed to grasp the meaning of a ‘free and open society.’ It’s time for them to
be forced to ‘spend more time with the family’.
The current government’s de-communization zeal is insatiable. All journalists –
public or private - born before 1972, must now be vetted for communist era
collaboration.
Brilliant idea, isn’t it?
For some time now, the government has been requiring employees of public media -
no matter how lowly – to fill in a form (downloaded from the internet) with a
few basic personal details, and then send it to be vetted.
Employees wait a few weeks and back comes a little certificate saying that you
were not a collaborator, or otherwise. If you don’t get a clean bill of health
then you are sacked.
Well, now the government is insisting that private media forces its journalists
to go through the same procedure.
Amazingly, blogs appear to also come under this law.
There has been lots of comment on the net about this – of the English articles
see here and here.
I cannot think of an example in any other ‘western’ ‘democratic’ country where
the government is trying to intrude in the affairs of private media in this way.
Private media are a little upset, unsurprisingly, and are threatening civil
revolt against such a totalitarian-flavoured move. The government is threatening
fines against private media that do not comply.
The human rights implications of this was noted in the US state department’s
annual review of human rights (though just how the present Whitehouse feels
qualified to lecture others about human rights is a mystery).
Same but different
It’s sad to have to say that many in the present government are demonstrating
the same mentality as those who they so despise – communists. For both, a free
and open civil society is seen as a threat to their own survival.
Since 1989 Poland has been blessed (irony, sarcasm) with a generation of
politicians, from the left and right, which have not demonstrated an
understanding of how modern democracies work.
Much of the left have been prone to seedy corruption, and there has been an ‘old
boy network’ that has done nicely from the change from communism to capitalism.
They have also been criminally negligent of the public services, managed in the
way that they always have been: badly.
On the other side we have a generation of politicians who represent those left
behind in the post communist bun fight. But though oppositional, they seem to
have internalized far too much of the old regime that they fought against.
And this has led to an inability to take criticism in the media.
There are a few exceptions (which a camel could count on the fingers of one hoof)
but for much of the old left and right, coming to terms with basic freedoms and
human rights has been difficult and they are stopping Poland maturing into a
modern democracy.
What Poland needs is a younger generation of politician who has not been so
badly scared, and deformed, by the experience of the People’s Republic of
Poland.
So forget vetting private journalists born before 1972.
I propose a new law which says that if you were born before 1972 in Poland then
you shouldn’t be allowed to be a politician.
It’s time for the post-communist failures to take their free bus pass.

The woman said she agreed to have sex with Lepper
because she needed money.
Lady K
Another day, another
scandal for the coalition government
This week it’s accusations that female workers for
Self Defense (Samoobrona) were ordered to perform sexual favours for top
members of the party, including the leader, Andrzej Lepper (baff !).
It is alleged that in a kind of political casting coach situation, a
worker at a Samoobrona local government office, Aneta K (this is now a
legal case so we can’t give her whole name), says that promotion was
promised up the party ranks if she was willing to indulge in a little
rumpy-pumpy with prominent member of Samoobrona, Stanislaw Lyzwinski . She
is also claiming that she was commanded to have sex with Andrzej Lepper,
and to keep servicing him, if she wanted to keep the job.
The Prosecutors Office is looking at the allegations.
Party members are fighting back dirty, however. They say that Aneta has
three kids, each by a different father. So she is a loose woman and not to
be taken seriously.
Aneta K counters that, in fact, the first two kids are from her husband,
who she is now separated from. But the third child is indeed Lyzwinski’s.
To prove it she has had DNA tests done and is waiting for the results.
Wife of Lyzwinski says she trusts him if he says he didn’t do it, but if
he did, then it just shows what a man he is (she sounds like she deserves
him, stupid cow).
Andrzej Lepper is claiming that this whole ‘affair’ is a set up to break
the ruling government coalition, which he is Vice PM of.
The coalition staggers on…but if Jaroslaw Kaczynski was serious in his
election promise to ‘clean up Poland morally’ then how much longer can he
tolerate a Vice Premier associated with grubby sex scandals ?
Well, maybe he can tolerate it as long as he needs a majority in
parliament. But it’s gonna cost him and the government.
It’s
also being claimed that Andrzej Lepper sexually molested the present
government’s Minister of Labour, Anna Kalata, who is also a member of
Samoobrona.
He denies all the allegations claiming that it is all a set up to bring
down the government.
How on earth are Samoobrona going to get out of this horror? How is the
coalition government, of which they are a vital member, going to survive
this?

In related development, the Samoobrona Labour Minister
who it was rumoured was malested by Lepper has said: "I was not
malested, but, you never know, I might have enjoyed it!"
